North Campus/Hyde Park

This is the “oldest” neighborhood in Austin and just a stone’s throw to the UT campus. Along both the UT shuttle and Metro bus lines, many students attending the University of Texas find this area to be the ideal place to live. It can be much quieter than west campus and many of the smaller, renovated apartment complexes can be much more affordable to the student or family on a tight budget.
